I'm a brand new collector who started the cel hunt in February of 2017. People have been telling me that the market is looking good again after a dry spell and I couldn't be happier.

I love both anime and western cartoons, and I even have something of an academic interest in them. I won't go on at length about that, but if you ever want to talk about animation and storytelling or particular mythological/folkloric themes then feel free. I live for that type of thing!

As for my collection, I am a huge fan of Yu Yu Hakusho, and my purchases will likely reflect that. However, I will be looking to add pieces from several other series as well, so don't be surprised if you see Cowboy Bebop, Batman: TAS, Samurai Jack, Fullmetal Alchemist, Utena, Inuyasha, or Wolf's Rain showing up around here. I'm drawn to good stories, interesting art styles, and particularly shows with a connection to magic and mythology.

I call this place Drifters and the Damned because those tend to be the types of characters I like. Characters whose motivations take them on winding, fantastical journeys where they become strangers in even stranger lands, or the ones who are the reluctant slackers or restless souls who find purpose along the way. On the other side, those with curses, literal or metaphorical, or those seeking redemption... or just the downright evil ones who don't mind the potential moral punishment so long as they get what they want.
